Devlog #11 - A late recap of the 13th-19th!


General

The team is nearing our demo time, which I will make a separate post announcing! If I remember to, I will come back here to link the announcement here. So Let this be a pseudo-announcement to that haha.

The team has done a bit in the last few weeks, however, I will be recounting the week we missed and make the week after its own post. Here's to what our team did on the week of the 13th through 19th of October!

Art Progress + Presskit

There has been major progress made on the poster (technically multiple posters now! As Lani, our design lead, makes a second one along with Grace's!) and we're on a start to creating our Presskit! Which is very exciting... 


I won't spoil too much right now, as more progress is to be shown in the future which will be more interesting to compile. We're also working on a proper team logo, more stickers and perhaps a business card!



Texturing

Zen has been working on the models, as usual, coming up with the unwraps and texture of our interior rooms as well as a few props. Not much to say or show for now but progress is moving as always!

Puzzling progress and objectives

Cora has been putting work into a puzzle system to make keypads/codes required for some locked doors! This was worked in junction with some progress to implement objectives that you can't skip.

Teleports/Entering Buildings

The teleports were edited and fixed up so you can enter up to, currently, 4 buildings! It seems to be working smoothly and its quite fun to walk around in.

Final Words

Not the most exciting week to talk about but rest assured we'll have more to talk about in the next two weeks after this one as we gear up for our first public demo at a certain place...
