Devlog #8 - Interior Crocodile Alligator
Hello again,
Welcome to our 8th Devlog!
3D Modelling and Texturing
We want our players to explore the map, and that includes the inside of buildings. Zen has been working hard to make several variations of houses and the interiors for them too! Almost all are with textures now, and we are starting to implement them into the Unity project.
PS, We unfortunately do not have crocodiles or alligators in our interiors...... yet..
Inventory and Items
Grace has been working closely with one of our tutors (our saviour, Mel) to get our inventory system up and running! Alongside with the inventory they have also been tinkering away at items that will be used to aid the player with healing. Here are some of their newest item icons!

Insanity
Cora has started work on our Insanity system again and will be testing and implementing the mechanic into the project over the next week... We will have more on this soon >:)
Cleaning and Teleporting
Lani has been cleaning up the scene and re-implementing updated models, new lighting, and implementing a "teleport" system. This mechanic will allow players to interact with a door and teleport into the house. It is semi-functioning, however the player cannot phase up or down, and cannot phase through walls with the current script. We suspect it is due to our collision problems and Navmesh.
We will keep you all updated soon, thanks for reading!!
